What is Aspire Appalachian Aspire?

Aspire Appalachian is a co-admission program between Appalachian State University and 糖心视频 intended to promote seamless transfer, access to baccalaureate degree completion and to enhance transfer success.  

Requirements:

Complete one of the following degrees at SPCC:

• • Associate in Arts
  • Associate in Fine Arts
  • Associate in Science 
  • Associate in Nursing 
  • Early Childhood Associate in Applied Science 
• Cumulative 2.25 GPA. 
• Taking at least 12 credit hours per semester.
• Enrolled in or complete ACA 122 with a C or higher.
• Has at least 2 semesters/24 hours remaining toward the associate degree

What is the Pirate Promise? 

Guaranteed admission to ECU with a completed associate degree. This transfer program is for students who are in their first year of coursework at their community college to attend special events, receive advising assistance, and support before they apply to ECU. 

Requirements 

• You are enrolling or already a full-time student in your first year 
• Enrolled in AA, AS, AE, AFA, AAS Early Childhood Education, and certain AAS Degrees (click here for details on AAS)  
• Early College 鈥� must be a Junior 
• Must be full time (12 hours or more) Unless in Early College or CCP 
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA

What is the Aggie Plus Program?

The Aggie Plus Program is a co-admissions program designed to provide prospective N.C. A&T transfer students a seamless transition to N.C A&T from their local NC community college.  

Requirements 

• Complete AA, AS, (select AAS programs are also eligible as stated by the bilateral transfer agreement)  
• Must apply to 鈥淎ggie Plus鈥� prior to earning less than 30 credit hours and plan courses with their Aggie Plus Advisor 
• Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher and earn a 鈥淐鈥� or higher in all courses. (Some NCATSU programs may have additional program requirements and students will be notified)

• Submit the  prior to completing 30 credit hours toward an Associate Degree (NO APPLICATION FEE and PRIORITY REVIEW) 
• Submit proof of admission to SPCC and Official SPCC academic transcript. 
• Complete FERPA authorization enabling SPCC to share student academic performance information with NCATSU for the purpose of advising. 

This partnership is designed to give academically qualified South Piedmont students a seamless admissions process to St. Andrews University of Charlotte and provide high-quality academic advising. 

Requirements: 

Complete one of the following degrees:

• To be eligible students must complete their degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in transferable, college-level coursework with grades of C or better.  St. Andrews will transfer up to 60 academic credits towards a bachelor鈥檚 degree. 
• Commit to full-time status (a minimum of 12 semester hours) at South Piedmont unless the student is enrolled in an Early College or Career and College Promise program.

• Prior to registering for St. Andrews classes, students must submit a St. Andrews admissions application and South Piedmont official transcripts, provide immunization documentation, and meet admissions requirements

What is the UNCA Bulldog Promise? 

It is a pathway for guaranteed transfer admission to UNCA for students completing an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or Associate in Engineering with a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in transferable college-level coursework.

鈼�&苍产蝉辫;Submit UNCA application for admission and disciplinary forms by UNCA deadlines

鈼� Be in good standing at South Piedmont and other institutions attended

鈼� Enroll at UNCA within one academic year (within the next two regular terms (fall/ spring

semesters) of completion of the Associate鈥檚 degree).

What is the UNCW Pathways to Excellence Program? 

It is a pathway for guaranteed transfer admission to UNCW for students completing an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Engineering with a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in transferable college-level coursework. 

Step 1) Current student with SPCC 

Step 2) Complete the  

Step 3) Complete a transferable Associate Degree prior to enrolling at UNCW 

• Associate in Arts 
• Associate in Science 
• Associate in Engineering 

Step 4) Earn a 2.5 cumulative GPA in transferable college level coursework

• Road2Wingate is open to students enrolled in Early College, Career and College Promise program or those in their first semester of community college enrollment.
• Enroll in the Road2Wingate program prior to beginning coursework at South Piedmont unless the student is enrolled in an Early College or Career and College Promise program.
• Complete ACA 122: College Transfer Success in the first semester of enrollment.
• Complete one the following degree requirements at South Piedmont:

• Prior to registering for Wingate classes, students must submit a Wingate University admissions application and South Piedmont official transcripts, provide immunization documentation, and meet Wingate admissions requirements.
• Participate in required academic advising sessions with both SPCC and WU academic advisors to ensure appropriate course selection and matriculation for seamless and efficient transfer.

What is the Dual Admissions Program?听

The听Dual Admissions Program is an opportunity for guidance and support for enrolled SPCC students who either do not initially meet WSSU minimum admission requirements OR who plan to transfer to WSSU upon completion of an Associate Degree at SPCC and have not completed more than 40 credit hours toward an academic program.听

Requirements:

• Complete an AA or AS degree. AAS degrees on a case by case basis.听
• Taken 40 or less credits toward an academic program.
• 2.0 GPA or higher.
• Submit a signed contract to WSSU.
